Finally finished! And on the nick of time too My contest entry for the 's Fox kits in spring contest.
<Two red fox kits, exploring a near by pond while the spring cherry blossoms are in full bloom.
I have to say, this was such a complex, time-comsuming embroidery. I had moments where I was really doubting it would look any good. Over twenty different colours were used for this piece and I think I spent about 70 hours in total on it, which includes; making the image, creating the pattern, adjusting and reducing the colour pallet, embroidering, swapping colours, cut stray thread ends and eventually sew the whole thing together. The embroidery actually consists of 4 seperate parts (if you look closely you can see four seams where the parts were sewn together again.) and those parts were divided into numerous groups of patterns again, since my machine couldn't handle or read this monster in four goes XD Wups..
The piece measures 20 cm long. Made on white cotton with tear-off stabilizer.
